If you have an urgent medical problem out of surgery hours, the phone number is still the same. You will be put in touch with the out-of-hours surgery which is located at the Walk In Centre on Osmaston Road . The out-of-hours service is run by Derbyshire Health United. Please remember that this service is for urgent problems only.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. NHS Direct is for health information and advice,your needs will be assessed and advice offered.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
